INSTRUCTIONS

Final Project / High Fidelity Prototype
I decided to use the main color of Genting, red, to design this app.
Mr. Sylvain suggested that I further develop my special function, the function of this group, because other hotel booking programs are basically nothing special, and they are all functions that other apps have already had.

I added some user-friendly features to the group settings, such as increasing or decreasing the number of group members, and adding itinerary planning. Each member can add a new itinerary here.

On the homepage you can see your personal information, current promotions, and an AI customer service button in the lower right corner.

On the "Services" page, I use colors on the buttons to categorize services. I use a bright red button color for mainstream services such as hotels and groups.

The app integrates the existing Resorts World Genting membership tiers – Classic, Silver, Gold, and Platinum – into a gamified loyalty system. Users progress based on total spending or booking frequency.
Each tier unlocks exclusive perks such as early access, room upgrades, and birthday rewards. Visual cues like badges and progress bars enhance motivation, while the system indirectly supports monetization through increased user engagement and partner promotions.

FEEDBACK

Week 14
Specific Feedback: Generally, it's fine can explore more about "groups" because that's special point.

REFLECTION

Experience
For this final project, we had to create a working prototype, connecting all the interfaces together to complete the navigation system. I made numerous modifications, including text alignment. These small touches can create a positive user experience. I also learned a lot online about using components like hidden menus and other micro-interactions.

Observations
I noticed that many layouts actually need to use the same value, such as the space between the theme and the sub-theme, etc., and the previously made UI kit is also reused, in order to make the application consistent.

Findings
I found that there are many applications in real life that are actually good examples. They all have some advantages that are worth learning from. We should also use this to infer what kind of application design will increase user stickiness.

We need to take notes of their pain points (problems) and highlights (things they love) when using the service or their competitors. My target audience is Gen Z - finish the 5 interviews transcript - take down the data, one idea per post-it -sort them in affinity maps - find categories/themes - create 3 personas from those themes I basically divided the interview questions into 5 sections.I interviewed my friends and they answered me in Chinese, and I translated them into English. Then we need to build the sketches on figma for each scene before the next week. Week 12 A good idea I came up with is to add a chat function. If today's target is a group of friends who want to book a hotel, they can all use this app and enter a group to chat, and at the same time they can share hotel information to this group. They can vote, compare hotels, and even plan the itinerary of the trip. More plans can be made in this group, and other members can also participate in the selection process. Then based on this idea, I designed the first sketch on figma. Mr. Sylvain sugges...
