EXERCISE 2 / TIKTOK & INSTA

Week 8
I decided to do this shoot at home, and the whole process went smoothly. I used 4K60Frame quality to complete my work.

After I have completed the behind the scenes work required for the shoot, I start uploading the film to the computer for editing. After the editing is completed, I will do color correction and color grading. Once these basic edits are completed, I will start adding transition effects and sound effects.

Submission

When I showed the finished product to Mr. Martin, he said that the pace of my film was too slow, so I revised it again.

Week 4 (22/10/2024)
Production Shoot
We need to shoot the required scenes according to the following storyboard.

Mr Martin asked us to go to E1.01 for photography on 22/10/2024, and then we were formed into a team to carry out this shooting activity. I took on the role of Location Sound, responsible for monitoring the audio level and adjusting the settings as needed to ensure clear and consistent sound. The dialogue was -6b to -12b, and the ambient sound was below -20b

When editing, we were asked not to be limited by the chronological order of the storyboard. Instead, try something unique and engaging, like a trailer or music video. So I planned to do it in a trailer-like style, with each scene interspersed with the rise and fall of the background music.

After we have finished editing the work, we need to perform video grading and color correction on the work.

Colour grade production shoot with the combination of the following:

  • Teal & Orange,

  • Bluish (cold),

  • Greenish (cold),

  • Brownish (warm),

  • Desaturation, 50%-70%,

  • B & W, High Contrast.
