INSTRUCTIONS

Project 1- Instructable Infographics Poster

Before I started designing, I did some research on the theme I wanted to work on, and I found the chalkboard style interesting, so I searched for references online.

I first set aside the colors and fonts I had previously selected in my moodboard for later use.


So I first used existing line patterns in Illustrator to draw the lines of the blackboard, and then used those lines to distinguish them.


Then, based on the previous steps, simply divide it into 6 steps and fill in all the information, including ingredients, steps, etc.


I simply hand-draw the entire pattern and then use Effect - Distort and Transform - Roughen to achieve the Chalkboard style I want.


Most of my illustrations are drawn using the Blob Brush Tool based on the scene, and then the brush style is selected to most closely resemble a chalk effect.


Actually, I'm not very good at drawing, but because of the chalkboard style I chose for this poster, my drawing still looks natural and fits the theme.
