Animated Instructable Poster
We need to use the assets from Project 1 Instructable Infographic poster into a 60 secs motion graphic also capture the aesthetics and narrative of the poster with movements, SFX and music.
Requirement:
Max 60 seconds infographic video 720p: 1280x720 pixels (H26/mp4) published on YouTube (set to Unlisted)
This is a tutorial I found online before I even started creating writing animations in After Effects. I found it very useful and think I can use it in my project .https://youtu.be/8K0i8odwA9Q?si=XCHekTrr0rDaF3-I
I decided to use the music from an animal crossing game I found on YouTube because I felt it matched my video and had a calm and cute style.

Mr. Martin also shared with me a link to a Youtube video reference for my topic.
Firstly, since my Project 1 poster style is chalkboard-like, my animation also needs to have the same theme. So I redraw the illustrations I needed in Illustrator, then placed them next to each other and used layers to distinguish them, making it easier for me to create the animation later.
My idea is that the text steps above all feel like they're being rewritten, while the illustration animations below are continuous, just like how the animated illustrations used in previous steps are retained in the animation scene of the next step.
I mostly use this effect, which I learned in class before. It involves adjusting the scale from 0% to 120% to 100% to create the effect, giving it a bouncy look.
Not only for scale can apply the bouncy effect, I also using it by adjust postion.
Then I finished the whole animation, but I needed to add sound effects, so I decided to continue adding the background music and sound effects I had previously selected.
Then I searched for the sound effects resources I needed on these two websites, downloaded them, inserted them into my animation, and added the playback times in the corresponding places.
Final Work
After I finished all the preliminary work, I uploaded the finished video to YouTube.

REFLECTION
After completing this module, I learned many ways to present information. Before this module, I wasn't very good at using After Effects, but after Mr. Martin's tutorials, I learned many animation production methods and techniques. I think this module is a great platform to unleash your imagination because many assignments don't have specific requirements; they all require us to complete them with our own ideas. After completing the last assignment, I felt a great sense of accomplishment. Although it wasn't the best, it was still a work completed step by step.
